Our broad-based community representation and continuing, CEO-level leadership is helping drive the transformation of health care in this state.

Is There Hope for the Health Care System?
We believe there is. Everybody can tell you what’s wrong with the health-care system, and depending on their concerns, what needs to be done to make it right. Only by embracing different interests and working together can we significantly improve health care in this state.

The Rhode Island Quality Institute represents every constituency of health-care leadership, as well as health insurance, consumer and public interest. We work collaboratively, come up with innovative solutions, champion changes throughout our organizations, and dedicate time, money, and expertise to improve the quality of health care in Rhode Island.

So why haven’t you heard more about our work?
Revamping a behemoth like the health-care system takes time. There are no quick fixes.  It’s a huge, complex job. We’re starting to see results and now we want you to know about them. This web site describes the issues that affect all of us and our efforts to help cure what ails the health-care system.
