H. John Keimig, MHA, FACHE

H. John Keimig became the first full-time Chief Executive Officer at Quality Partners of Rhode Island in June 2007. Mr. Keimig has over twenty-five years of solid and progressive administrative experience in the field of non-profit health care delivery.

Most recently, Mr. Keimig was President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island (SJHS). As CEO, he was the chief architect of an organizational restructuring that transformed a two-unit hospital into a respected, diversified, community-responsive health care delivery system. While at SJHS, Mr. Keimig led the implementation of a multi-year information technology plan designed to improve patient care and safety, operations, and financial oversight; and was responsible for the development of nationally recognized models for the delivery of primary health and dental services to underserved urban populations. Mr. Keimig has also held administrative positions in hospital operations and strategic planning. He has been recognized by local and national organizations for his contributions to improving the quality of and access to healthcare services. 

Mr. Keimig graduated from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio with a Master of Hospital and Health Administration.
